Update: Virtual Lessons Private Lessons and Group Classes offered!
My goal as a teacher is focused on building a solid technical foundation to ignite the fire of excitement and curiosity of endless possibilities of musical expression, lifetime collaborations, and artistic freedom. In this studio, it is a non-judgemental and safe environment. While every student is different, I uniquely cater structured curriculum with scales, etudes, and repertoire, while checking facility of ease and relaxation. I am Suzuki trained in Unit 1 to 3 and attended a teacher workshop with Mimi Zweig at Indiana University. My students have passed Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM) exams as well as performed with youth orchestras at Oakland Youth Symphony. Currently, I teach Suzuki Strings at Crowden Music Center. I also teach at Harmony Project Bay Area based on El Sistema at Woodrow Wilson Elementary school along with my own private studio in San Francisco of all ages.

I highly recommend Sarah Lee as a teacher. I'm an adult beginner and had been playing for a couple of years when I started with her. Her ability to quickly diagnose a student's technique and offer solutions that are both effective and efficient has helped me a great deal, and I found that I made rapid improvements working with her. She is very pleasant and fun to work with and put me at ease, so that I was often able to play better during lesson time than I had during my practice time. She also really listens to her students, and tailored my training to meet my specific goals. Finally, she is a highly skilled and very qualified musician who really knows her stuff!
