I highly recommend Sarah Lee as a teacher. I'm an adult beginner and had been playing for a couple of years when I started with her. Her ability to quickly diagnose a student's technique and offer solutions that are both effective and efficient has helped me a great deal, and I found that I made rapid improvements working with her. She is very pleasant and fun to work with and put me at ease, so that I was often able to play better during lesson time than I had during my practice time. She also really listens to her students, and tailored my training to meet my specific goals. Finally, she is a highly skilled and very qualified musician who really knows her stuff!

My goal as a teacher is focused on building a solid technical foundation to  ignite the fire of excitement and curiosity of endless possibilities of musical expression, lifetime collaborations, and artistic freedom. In this studio, it is a non-judgemental and safe environment. While every student is different, I uniquely cater structured curriculum with scales, etudes, and repertoire, while checking facility of ease and relaxation.  I am Suzuki trained in Unit 1 and 2. My students have passed Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM) exams as well as performed with youth orchestras at Oakland Youth Symphony. Currently, I also teach at Harmony Project Bay Area based on El Sistema at Woodrow Wilson Elementary

school.

My studio is located in San Francisco where I teach privately as well as group lessons of students of all ages. If you are interested in learning, please contact me here and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
